With a wealth of experience representing clients throughout India and abroad, Mr. Homa Petit has particular strength in disputes relating to Contract Law, Commercial transactions and Corporate Law as also construction projects, construction agreements and property issues and as also almost all other areas of law. He has a strong track record of handling cases in the Supreme Court, almost all of India's High Courts, and before Special Courts and various tribunals, specialising in commercial disputes, Trust Laws and cross-border financial disputes. He has advised several Indian and foreign banks and companies in various facets of law and litigations, including Joint Ventures, etc., over his long and illustrious career. He also has a commendable experience in the field of Media, including Defamation actions, Shipping Matters and Custom Cases as also the matters relating to Enforcement Directorate, including FEMA.

Additionally, Mr Petit is the current President of B D Petit Parsee General Hospital; and also, a past President and current Executive -Committee Member of the Malabar Hill Club Ltd. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Bombay Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, a Director of the Zoroastrian Co-operative Bank Ltd, a Trustee of the J B Petit High School for Girls and on the Managing Committee of the J. N. Petit Institute and K.R. Cama Institute, apart from other charities and institutions. Mr Petit was formerly associated as a member of the Sub-Committee of the Miscellaneous Legislation and Shipping Sub-Committee of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
